Fees

Every transaction on CornuEx (i.e. filling of orders) has a fee associated with it. Fees are subtracted from your wallet's balance in addition to the cost of the transaction. Fees are distinguished between maker fees and taker fees.

Maker fees apply when you create a limit order that does not immediately match another order. This is the case for buy orders with a price below the current market price, and for sell orders with a price above the current market price.

Taker fees apply when you create a limit or market order that immediately executes (i.e. does not get placed in the order book). Note that taker fees are always applied to market orders.
